SAFETY

We are very fortunate to have a vast supply of tools and equipment in the Art Room. To avoid students getting hurt, the tools and equipment need to be used in a responsible manner.
The following safety guidelines should always be followed.

· Absolutely no horseplay, practical jokes, etc...
· Use tools properly & wear appropriate safety gear
· Follow directions as given
· If painting on skin, use only  approved products.
· Follow proper disposal methods for products. Clay, plaster and turpentine should not be put down the drain.
· Consuming food or beverages in an art room can be unsafe or damage artwork/equipment.
· Students  should always ask if they are unsure how to use equipment or unfamiliar with safety precautions.
